Another one of my favourites to see on the runway is BCBG Max Azria. Maz Azria founded this line in 1989 and was born in Tunisia. Lubov (his wife) is also a driving force in this company in the aspect of creativity. BCBG is an acroynm for the french saying "bon chic, bone genre" - "good style, good attitude". The pieces above are a few of my favourites from the recent Fall 2008 and Spring 2008 ready to wear collections. Both collections feature similarities such as the long, knotted belt at the natural waist and soft, flowing feminine fabrics for that understated and effortless look. The use of sheer fabrics layered on top is another key feature found in the Spring collection.
