From the Runway... Jason Wu

Since everyone has been caught with Obama fever, I figured we should also make note of the historical moment for young designer, Jason Wu, who as many of you know, designed the inauguration dress for Michelle Obama. 

Jason Wu is a young fashion designer born in Taiwan, based in the bustling New York. He's come a long way from his childish beginnings designing dresses for toy dolls. His new Spring Ready to Wear collection is stunning mix of his usual young hollywood hourglass shapes but also a new, modern look with vibrant colours and cashmere t-shirts with polka dot minis. He's definitely a designer to watch and with a growing clientele, I think he's on the right path.
